D.J. O'Connor replaced Mr E.P. O'Brien on Great Entirely, trained by Paul Stephen Kiely (Race 1)(injured).
D.King replaced G. Brouder on Itsalladream, trained by Paul John Gilligan (Race 6)(injured).
Mr N McParlan replaced D.J. O'Keeffe on Deadheat (FR), trained by S. McParlan (Race 7)(intended mount a non runner).
A. O'Sullivan replaced Jordan Canavan on Party Pack, trained by J.P. Flavin (Race 7)(unwell).
D J O'Keeffe replaced J.J. Slevin on King's Son (FR), trained by Seamus Neville (Race 7)(stood down).

181A Shamrock Enterprises M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Seven Towers, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Seven Towers, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

Alan O'Sullivan, rider of Lastofthenatives, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

181B1 Clearwater Construction H'cap H'dle

P. Hanlon, rider of Mount Hotham, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check off heels after jumping the first hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident between the first and second hurdle, involving Grey Gardens (FR), ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, Mr MacPhisto, ridden by Ms N.M. Bradley and Mount Hotham, ridden by P. Hanlon, where it appeared Mount Hotham had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.F. O'Keeffe stated that he maintained his line on the wide outside. Ms N.M. Bradley stated that she felt pressure from her outside so squeezed on forward and was unaware that she had ridden across the horse on her inside. P. Hanlon stated that he felt pressure from the outside and had to take a check off heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Lakota Blue (FR), ridden by Mr N. McParlan, and trained by S. McParlan. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. Mr N. McParlan stated that his mount had not ran on the track in a year and that his instructions today were to drop in and then ride to come home and finish in the best possible position. He stated that close to home things became tight and he was blocked everywhere. He was worried that he may clip a heel as he felt he had nowhere to go. Mr S. Dickson the Authorised Representative for S. McParlan confirmed the instructions given and stated that he was happy with the ride and that it was reported to him post race that his charge had blood in his lungs. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that the animal was found to be coughing on examination post race. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from S. Curling, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of He Who Dares, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr L. Kelly the Authorised Representative of S. Curling stated that the removal of the hood may have brought about the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.

S. McParlan, trainer of Lakota Blue (FR), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was found to have blood in the lungs on endoscopic examination post race.

181B2 Clearwater Construction H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Le Diablo (FR), for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Brave Josee (FR), trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Kevin Healy, rider of Brave Josee (FR), trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung out to the right and was unable to lay up in the early stages.

C.P. Lamon, rider of Doyen Og, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

181C Curracloe Beach M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Doctor Elvis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Glenary Prince, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Doctor Elvis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Glenary Prince, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

181D Slaney Valley Beginners S'chase

P.T. Enright, rider of Wing Back, trained by S. Curling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last fence.

181E Molloy Metals Recycling H'cap S'chase

P.T. Enright, rider of Clonshire River, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the second last fence.

181F Save Dave 7th August Ladies Day Hcp Sch

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fences one and six to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards fined Peter Maher, trainer €65 for fitting cheek pieces to Hey Sir which had not been declared and ordered their removal.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Hey Sir, trained by Peter Maher, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right throughout.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.K. Donovan, rider of Sunwalk (GB), trained by Seamus Neville, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel on the home bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

181G Racing Again 22nd July INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards advised Anthony John Black, trainer of Speisialta, who refused to race, that a repeat performance of his charge may render the animal liable for suspension in the future.
